We hope you have all had a chance to catch up on the first two volumes of NANI and enjoyed them. After months of preparations, Nani vol.2 is finally available to people outside of Kickstarter and this is where we need your help one more time!
We need to get the word around to as many people as possible, because who doesn’t need a female-led African fantasy story in their lives? If you have a physical copy of NANI vol.2 or of the hardback Collector’s Edition, feel free to post a photo on Twitter with #NANI2, and tag us @kugalimedia! As a thank you for all the help we will be giving a 40% Discount code to be used on our website to one of our lucky supporters.
In other news, MUMU JUJU pre-orders are *finally* hitting printing! We have had a few surprises while working on the production of this book, but we are now in the final stages and the books should be with you shortly.
This print run will be a limited edition and only backers who have pre-ordered it will receive it. Estimated shipping dates and other information will be sent to your email address once we get final confirmations.

Hello backers !
We know that a few of you have been requesting an update from us and we thank you for your patience.
We decided to take some extra time to create products that we were genuinely happy with sending out to every one of you, this meant going back and polishing some of the rewards we had lined up. In the meantime, we hope you were all able to dive into the world of Sama and follow the adventures of Mina and Lamin with the digital copies of Nani. We would love to hear your thoughts so please don’t hesitate to share them with us on social media, and feel free to tag us in your posts/reviews!
Shipping
The different types of rewards will be shipped out separately, so if you’re set to receive art prints, the books and a t-shirt, you will be getting 3 different parcels; this will ensure that you do not wait any longer than necessary.
The face masks will be the first items to be sent out from Monday (19th April), with T-shirts following in the same week. All books and prints will be shipped out the week after, from the 27th of April.
Delivery times and customs
Unfortunately, due to the local restrictions around the world delivery times may vary significantly.
We are also aware that some rewards may inquire some duty or customs taxes. This is a given for most Kickstarter campaigns, but equally we don’t want it to dampen the experience, so we will be compensating those affected with Kugali Koins (our in-app currency) once our app is live later in the year. All relevant information and proof of duty/customs payment will need to be sent to [email protected], but we’ll send out more updates when this is required.
We also have some exciting news which we will be able to share with you very soon so watch this space!

REWARD FULFILMENT BEGINS!

Hello backers!
We are knee deep in the production of the physical rewards but wanted to share with you some exciting updates!
Nani volume 2 is finally ready!
The Kugali creatives have been hard at work to make this some of the best work they’ve created – you are in for a treat and we are so excited to finally share it with you all!
DIGITAL REWARDS:
All digital rewards (Digital copies of Nani Volume 1 and Volume 2) will be sent out on Monday February 22nd so make sure to keep an eye on your inboxes for the digital download. All files will be sent as PDFs so you will be able to read them on your preferred device.
PHYSICAL REWARDS:
Address update deadline – March 5th
If you’ve moved or are planning to move please make sure to notify us of any address changes before March 5th. We don’t want anyone to miss out on their rewards!
KUGALI FACE MASKS:
Everyone who has pledged £70 or more will receive a free Kugali inspired face mask. These masks are reversible with one side a dark purple geometric pattern and the other a flat golden yellow.
However we currently have a limited number of masks where the revesible side is black instead of yellow. If you have purchased a face mask or are part of the above mention pledge levels and would like to get the reversible black mask instead of the golden yellow reversible please let us know. Both of them are absolutely lovely. Please be aware that due to the limited numbers this will be on a first come first served basis, so we may not be able to accommodate everyone!

The LAST LEG!

Hello!
We are approaching the last leg of the rewards fulfilment process and we just wanted to reach out and let you know that, if you purchased any add-ons or the initial payment for your Kickstarter pledge didn't go through, your card will be charged on Friday 12th of February.
If there are any issues crediting your card you will be notified via email. This can be due to:
- Insufficient funds
- The charge is flagged as fraudulent by your bank
To solve any issues, you might need to contact your bank to allow your card to be charged or update the card. The new card will be charged as soon as it is updated.
Once charged you will not be able to purchase any other add ons. If you want to get your hands on any other items you will need to purchase them via our Pre-order store.
